Why our B&B is called “Il Viadante?”
In Italian, Il Viadante means a traveller, namely a wayfarer. The stone house is located along the Via Francigena, an ancient route that in medieval times connected Canterbury to Rome. That’s why the spirit is that of the traveller and of the wayfarer, The Viadante.
